No. Downloads preserve the original container. Use Link to MP4 when you already have a direct MP4 file link; neither tool transcodes video.
The tool transfers the original file bytes without re-encoding. It does not offer resolution selection or quality conversion.
Downloaded videos are not stored in R2 or added to upload history. A successful source validation consumes one use of your existing daily quota, shared with uploads. A later interrupted transfer may still use that quota.
The source may block server access, expire, use an unsupported container or header, exceed 100 MB or take too long. MOV files need a QuickTime ftyp header. IPv6-only sources are not supported.
